I recently visited the Courtyard in Waukegan for a corporate retreat, and it served my needs well. The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the Navy base, ideal if that's your purpose for visiting. I appreciated the free high-speed Wi-Fi, which allowed me to stay productive as I prepped for meetings. The ergonomic workstations were also a plus for long hours. With a fitness center and an indoor pool, I was able to squeeze in some workouts after my workday. Good coffee from Starbucks is right next door, which kept me fueled. Though the hotel is undergoing renovations and shows some wear, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing valuable info on nearby dining options like the BBQ joint, which I highly recommend. If you're in town for Navy graduation or business, I'd consider this place again.
